Isabella my child. You are such a joy to our family. Your Chinese given name of Mei Le really does fit you. You are a beautiful happy child. You have a contagious giggle when we tickle you. You look at us and smile all the time. You do not like to be in a room alone. Which works out well because Dawson, Lydia and Sophia want to play with you constantly. You rest your head on our shoulders or arm or what ever is close by to you. You are not a rocker at night. You point at your bed, lay down and go to sleep. You have adjusted to be awakened in the morning and taking your sisters and brother to school. Sometimes you even sing when we sing to you... it is the same note, but you sound wonderful! God had you planned from the beginning of time. We are so glad we were in His plans for you. We love you and are so grateful to be your forever family. Love.

Christmas!

Bella, You are part of our family although your sisters and brother did not wait till you woke up to start opening their presents! We had a great day celebrating the birth of Christ and the arrival of you! Did you notice your dad is wearing his Christmas shirt :) Lydia and Sophia like wearing pjs with feet so they can slide down the stairs with Dawson! Love you!

Christmas Eve with the Williams'

On Christmas Eve Day we went to see your Grandma and Grandpa Skees. They love you so much! Grandpa takes picture after picture of you. Christmas Eve we all headed to church. Pathway has 3 services your dad spoke at. God is so good.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Isabella! We celebrated your first birthday with a pretty pink tiny cake, just for you! The Williams' tradition is to let the birthday girl or boy dive into the cake and feed themselves! Bella, you were fun to watch as you started slow and then picked up speed enjoying the icing!

First Family Picture

My dear Isabella, What a treasure you are! You are bringing so much joy to our family. Dawson, Lydia and Sophia all love you! Tonight when you were crying because you didn't have any dinner yet on your tray, Lydia and Sophia both brought you something to eat!

Life is busy here with you and your siblings. I still haven't done your quilt yet. I would like to have all the material and prayers in from our friends before your birthday on the 25th of this month. I am excited for you to read the prayers someday. Tonight you fell asleep in my arms while drinking your bottle. Then you went straight to bed. I love looking at you, rubbing my face on your soft face. You fall asleep in your dad's arms too. You have a family now. Love.

Celebrating with our Journey Group

Isabella, I only took pictures of the cutest there that night. . .sorry journey group, you didn't make the cut! Dawson was the host and served us tea and Moon Cakes to celebrate the Moon Festival that took place early this month in China. We all took turns to share what we were thankful for. Of course I was thankful for you and your sisters and brother! Love you.
